Dr. Michael D. Grinn is a triple board-certified cardiothoracic anesthesiologist whose work centers on patient safety, physiologic optimization, and high-reliability care in complex environments. As a Senior Medical Advisor at Wellworth, he provides medical leadership and strategic guidance to ensure clients receive rigorously evidence-based, safety-first, and forward-looking health solutions.

Dr. Grinn brings a comprehensive understanding of human physiology and risk management developed through collaboration across medical and surgical specialties. His experience spans clinical practice in multiple states and austere environments, including expedition medicine. He is the Founder and Principal Investigator of Pulse at the Peak, a global research initiative studying human physiology and performance in extreme conditions, and serves on advisory boards for nonprofit and healthcare organizations. He is also a member of the Society of Cardiovascular Anesthesiologists’ AI Task Force, focused on integrating advanced analytics and artificial intelligence into patient-centered care.
